If the Noynoy-Mar tandem is successful, then we might see a bright future for the country.

Here's my observation:

Both these guys are well-educated and are economists. Therefore, they know how things work in the world of domestic and global economics. This is our chance to finally have capable individuals who can pull our economy out of the graveyard.

Even if Noynoy Aquino's term (if he ever wins) ends in 2016, his work can still continue if Mar Roxas (if he wins VP this 2010) runs for president (and wins) in the same year.

Noynoy should prove that he is not just his parents' son. Despite serving the government both as Congressman and Senator, not much is heard from him.

To Niko: You're so right Niko...this time around, Philippine givernance should be rid-off of traditional pols who are out there primarily to siphoned riches from the treasury, we need leaders who they say, are already immerse in richness and at the same time, not anymore inclined to enrich themselves further, passionate and desiring to serve the people and see this nation rise in honor and in wealth.

To BW : I somehow noticed that bro,...but I am sure he'd be so grateful now in actuality, since he would have not easily matched Villar in the polls...or a Noli de Castro...

To Sidney : Yeah Sidney, it seems that for the first time in so many decades, from pre-martial law years, we have a crop of able and very young candidates for us to choose from. In past elections, we used to see old faces and old people running for high positions.
