It sounds silly, but that's over protection, to ensure the survivability of information. I'm not too keen on storage services on the internet, esp those where you are able to map a drive from your PC to a web based location. The risk for hacking is huge plus what happens if the web provider goes belly up ? Besides, the kind of service level agreement one signs doesn't guarantee much esp if the service is free !
