I engross myself in music as well when I'm emotionally tired. Lately, due to technology, new music is quite easy to acquire.

based on my limited experience, this new generation of students wants dynamic, interactive classes, not the traditional lecture-types where teachers do monologues in front. like social media that allows them to be part of the production, to comment, to speak their minds, to express themselves, classes, they believe, should be the same. how to do this, without overdoing it,is a teacher's challenge.
